I continue to write for the Temple News blog. I did two politically flavored posts in a row before returning to my roots in absurd lies and half-truths. Enjoy:

Movie Sequel Being Filmed on My Street in Philly!
Posted by Kirk under Academy Awards , Commentary , Movie Stars , Movies1 Comment
I cannot believe it! Earlier today, I read that a movie is about to start filming on my street. Apparently, the Coen brothers are making a sequel to the popular, Academy Award winning, No Country for Old Men. This new movie is set in Philadelphia in the 1980’s, when the city economy was quite depressed. The working title for this movie is No City for the Middle-Aged Transgendered. According to the my neighborhood’s community website, the plot of the movie revolves around a woman named Cheryl living in the body of a man named Larry. She finds a box of money belonging to the local mafia, and hilarity ensues. Javier Bardem reprises his role as Anton Chigurh, who hunts Cheryl to retrieve the box of money while simultaneously searching for his long lost brother Larry. Little does he know both quests are to find the same individual. Also, Brian Dennehy is set to make a cameo as Barfo the Clown, Philadelphia’s favorite clown-type television personality. I will keep everyone updated as I learn more about this wondrous news. I am excited to see a movie get made in my own neighborhood!
